Day 1

BANGALORE / HAMPI

Departure from Bangalore to hampi by special coach at 09.00 Pm.

Day 2

HAMPI

Arrival at hampi by 6.00 AM. Check in at Hotel. After fresh up and Breakfast, Hampi local sight seeing. King’s Palace- this is the largest enclosure, including two major platform structures, an underground chamber which must have served as a treasury or private audience hall, several other platforms, double fortification walls, ands several other interesting architectural elements. Mahanavami Dibba – Equally impressive is the massive Mahanavami Dibba, where the kings once sat on gem-studded golden thrones and watched processions pass by. The platform sports densely carved bands of horses, soldiers and depictions of the various aspects of courtly life. Queen’s Bath-this structure has a very plain exterior but the interior is stunningly ornate, with graceful arched corridors, projecting balconies and lotus shaped fountains that used to spout perfumed water for the ladies of the court. Lotus Mahal- this visually appealing structure has two levels, with open pavilions at the bottom and balconies above, the mahal derives its name from its beautiful, geometrically-arranged cusped arches that resemble the petals of a flower opening to the sun. Elephant Stables- An imposing edifice with arched entrances and many domes that once housed the magnificent state elephants. Pushkarni-the stepped water tank, excavated in the mid-1980s, was originally a part of the palace complex. Almost lyrical in its beauty, the tank is a tiered structure crafted from rectangular pieces of granite. After Lunch visit to Hazara Rama Temple-This was a royal temple reserved for ceremonial use. The entire temple is embellished with bas-reliefs depicting scenes from epic Ramayana. Virupaksha Temple-Dedicated to lord Shiva and his consort Pampadevi, this is the only temple that still used for worship the temple, with its nine stored gopuram, towers above the other structures at Hampi. Lakshminarasimha-The awesome 6.7m high monolith depicting the man-lion form of Vishnu is seated on a seven-hooded serpent. Badavilinga-it is 3 m high and stands permanently in water that flows through an ancient channel. Ganesha Images- Two Ganesha (Sasuvekalu & Kadalekalu) can be seen on the slopes of the hemakuta hills. One of them is enclosed in a temple with unusually tall pillars, while the other is in an open hall. Evening free for shopping. Back to hotel for Dinner And Party Games Night halt at Hampi.

Day 3

HAMPI / BADAMI / PATTADAKAL / AIHOLE / GOA

After fresh up & Breakfast check out from the hotel and departure to Visit Badami-It is situated at the mouth of a ravine between two rocky hills, the exquisite sculptures and the rust red sandstone cliffs of Badami tell many a tale of yore .Pattadakal- With its beautifully chiseled temples, this world Heritage Site on the banks of the Malaprabha river bears testimony to the richness of Chalukyan architecture. Aihole- A tranquil village on the banks of malaprabha river, Aihole is acclaimed as the cradle of Hindu temple architecture. There are hundreds of temples in the villages and fields nearby. The most impressive one is the Durga temple with its semicircular apse, elevated plinth, and the gallery encircled the sanctum. Evening departure to Goa.

Day 4

GOA

Morning arrival at Goa. On arrival check in at hotel after freshen up & breakfast, proceed to visit Goa sightseeing –Bom Jesus- here lies the incorruptible remains of St. Francis Xavier – Se Cathedral reputed be the largest of its kind in the east –St. Augustine Tower. Later visit Dona Paula – An idyllic and picturesque picnic spot, which commands a fine view of the zuari estuary and Mormugao Harbour which is one of natural anchorages on the west coast of India, where passengers and cargo ships call from all over-enjoy a variety of water sports here Miramar- Gaspar Dias Beach A lovely golden beach of soft sands along the Blue Arabian Sea. From here, one can catch a glimpse of the 17th century fort Aguvada, built by the Portuguese and the powerful beam of the light house sweeping across the sea. Sun Down Cruise – A pleasant 60 minutes to enjoy the calm and cool of River Mandovi, while you watch the lovely culture of Goa in song and dance like dekhni,fugdi and corredinho with live music. Day 5

GOA / BANGALORE

After an early freshen up and breakfast visit to calangute beach. Back to hotel for lunch and check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Auguada Fort, a famous 17th century fort now made even more famous by a 5 star Complex .late afternoon departure to Bangalore and dinner on the way.

BANGALORE

Arrival at Bangalore city by 8.00 AM.

Art gallery, Valluvar Kottam The Valluvar Kottam Honours the acclaimed Tamil Poet, Thiruvalluvar, whose classic work, the Kural, is reputed to be about 2000 years old. Kapaleeshwara Temple This ancient Shiva Temple is constructed in Dravidian style and displays the architectural elements – Gopurams, mantapams and a Tank. Guindy Snake Park The snake park with its lizards, crocodiles and turtles is very interesting. Marina Beach This beach extends for 13 KM. Anna Square, M.G.R. Square, on the way- Fort St. George Built around 1653 by British East India Company; it presently houses the secretariat and The Legislative Assembly. Pondicherry Museum-It has a collection of everything from pallava sculptures to a bed slept in by a peripatetic Dupliex, the colony’s most famous governor. Botanical Gardens, The Sacred Heart church on subbaya salai is an impressive sight with its Gothic architecture, stained glass and striking brown & white Colors.
