Arrival at Chennai by 4.40 AM. Check in at a hotel. After fresh up & breakfast, Chennai Local Sight Seeing. Fort Museum It has a fascinating collection of memorabilia from the British and French East India Companies, as well as the Raj and Muslim administrations. Art gallery, Valluvar Kottam The Valluvar Kottam Honours the acclaimed Tamil Poet, Thiruvalluvar, whose classic work, the Kural, is reputed to be about 2000 years old. Kapaleeshwara Temple This ancient Shiva Temple is constructed in Dravidian style and displays the architectural elements – Gopurams, mantapams and a Tank. Guindy Snake Park The snake park with its lizards, crocodiles and turtles is very interesting. Marina Beach This beach extends for 13 KM. Anna Square, M.G.R. Square, on the way- Fort St. George Built around 1653 by British East India Company; it presently houses the secretariat and The Legislative Assembly. Arjuna’s Penance – This relief carving on the face of a huge rock depicts animals, deities and other semi divine creatures as well as fables from the Hindu panchatantra books Trimurthi cave Temple- It honors the trinity – Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Five Rathas – The five rathas are sculptured temples in the style of chariots set by the sea and carved from solid rock, they provide another fine example of pallava architecture. Crocodile bank. PONDICHERRY / TANJAORE

After fresh up and breakfast departure for Pondicherry sightseeing and Visit to Sacred Hearts Church, Aurobindo Ashram – Its spiritual tenets represent a synthesis of Yoga and modern science. Pondicherry Museum-It has a collection of everything from pallava sculptures to a bed slept in by a peripatetic Dupliex, the colony’s most famous governor. Botanical Gardens, The Sacred Heart church on subbaya salai is an impressive sight with its Gothic architecture, stained glass and striking brown & white Colors. Aurovilli – A major focus of meditation and spiritual regeneration. Evening visit to Pondicherry beach. Night halt at Pondicherry.

PONDICHERRY / TANJAORE

After early freshen up and breakfast, visit the famous Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara – A World Heritage Monument. The Temple is Capped by a Monolithic cupola made of a Single granite block weighing 80 tones which was taken to the top with the help of a 6. After Fresh Up and Break Fast, Departure to Coonoor Local Sight Seeing-Tea estates & old colonal houses give it a quaint aura. Back to Hotel by toy train – This charming toy train ride from Coonor to Ooty makes the journey to Ooty as delightful as this hill station. Arrival at Wayanad. Check in at hotel. After Fresh Up & Breakfast Visit Edakkal Caves-The two caves are located at a height of 1000 mt on Ambukutty Mala near Ambalavayal. The new Stone Age pictorial writings on the wall of these natural caves at Edakkal are evidence of the civilization that existed in these regions in prehistoric times. The caves can be accessed only by a 1 Km trekking trail from Edakkal. After Lunch Departure to Soochippara falls – The waterfalls at Soochippara near Meppadi are really a treasure of nature, yet to be discovered. The stretches of waterfalls ranging at places from 100 to 300 feet height are a treat to the eyes. After Dinner, Camp Fire & Party Games Night Halt at Wayanad.
