- DAY 1 : BANGALORE / THALAKKAD : Departure to Thalakadu by 6.00 am.breakfast on the way check in at Cauvery jaladamba resort. After fresh up and lunch Visit Thalakadu Temple Talakadu sightseeing. The remains of the capital of 4th to 5th century Ganga dynasty, built on a bank of the Cauvery River at Talakad are now largely buried by sand.the day is free for leisure to enjoy the resort activities. Play in the river Cauvery. Evening back to resort for dinner and party games night halt at resort.
- DAY 2 : THALAKKAD / BANGALORE : After fresh up and breakfast checkout from the hotel and visit to Sivanasamudram water falls – A visit to Sivansamudram falls and Power Station. Discover nature’s handi work in the form of this tiny island-town 65Km east of Mysore. Here the Cauvery River plummets from a height of 75m, into a deep, rocky gorge with a deafening roar to form two pictersque falls, Barachukki and Gaganachukki. Downstream from the falls is Asia’s first hydroelectric project, established at the behest of Sir M Vishveswarayya in 1902.after lunch visit to Visit Somanathapur Channakeshava Temple. The exquisitely carved star-shaped temple with triple towers is a perfect example of Hoysala architecture. The friezes on its outlet walls with their intricately carved rows of caparisoned elephants, charging horsemen and mythological birds and beasts will leave you spellbound. Beautifully sculptured images of gods, goddess and scenes from the epics, as well as they remarkably ornate ceilings in the pillared hall will take your breath away. Late afternoon departure to bangalore and arrive at bangalore by 8.00 pm.
