Arrival at kochveli railway station by 9.30 am. Transfer to Hotel. Check In At Hotel. After Fresh Departure To Trivandrum Local Sight Seeing – Zoological Park: One of the first zoos in India, it is located in a well-planned botanical garden. With huge trees like frangipani and jacaranda dotting the sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lake, it is like a small jungle in the heart of the city. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in the premises. After lunch visit to Palace Museum: The palace was built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma – the King of Travancore, who was a great poet, musician, social reformer and statesman. This rare specimen of workmanship in the traditional Travancore style of architecture also has exquisite wood carvings. The palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family and is located near the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Templevening. Sree Chithra Art Gallery: Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays selected painting of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan Tibet and Bali. Late afternoon visit to Kovalam Beach. Evening Free For Shopping and back to hotel for dinner and night halt at Kovalam.

After early fresh up and breakfast, departure to kanyakumari, check in at Hotel. After lunch departure to kanyakumari local sight seeing Vivekananda Rock (by Boat)/ Vivekananda Memorial – This memorial is on two rocky islands about 400m offshore. Swami Vivekananda meditated here in 1892 before setting out as one of India’s most important religious crusaders. After boating visit to Tiruvellur Statue & Gandhi Memorial– This striking memorial stored some of the Mahatma’s ashes until they were immersed in the sea. It resembles an Orissan temple and was designed so that on Gandhi’s birthday, the sun’s rays fall on the place where his ashes were kept. Evening Enjoy The Sun Set view And Free For Shopping. Back to the hotel for dinner and party games, night halt at kanyakumari.
