Provisional Itinerary

BANGALORE/HOWRAH : Departure from Bangalore to Howrah by Yeshwanthpur-Howrah Express at 07.35PM. (Train No. 12864). ALL ARE REQUESTED TO ASSEMBLE IN THE RAILWAY STATION AT 6.30 PM.




HOWRAH : Arrival at Howrah by 6.10 a.m. – On arrival, transfer to hotel. After Breakfast, we take Special Coaches and proceed for the full day Sight-seeing of Kolkata -Belur Math – Head Quarters of Ramakrishna Mission founded in 1897 by Swami Vivekananda. Dakshineshwar Kali Temple — This is the temple where Ramakrishna was the priest, and also where he reached his spiritual vision of the unity of all religions. It was built in 1847.Jain temple-The temple is an ornate mass of mirrors,coloured stones
And glass mosaics, Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Indian Museum – Also known as Magic House, Asiatic Society – The First Modern Museum of Asia, Zoological Gardens – Here animals are displayed in their natural environments. Howrah Bridge — This Bridge was constructed to cross the Hoogly River in a single 450m span. Its size is similar to Australia’s Sydney Harbor Bridge. Victoria Memorial – This huge white – marbled museum houses a vast collection of memorabilia from the days of the British Empire. This is probably the most impressive reminder of the Raj to be found in India. After dinner, night halt at Howrah.


KOLKOTTA /NEW JAL PAIGURI : After fresh up and breakfast, visit Science city – Science City is an area of knowledge and adventure. Science city has space theater, Space Flight, Dinosaurs alive dynamotion, life in water, a world of insects & reptiles, walkthrough butterfly corner and many more. After lunch day free for shopping. Evening departure to NJP by Kamrup exp at 5.30 PM (Train No.5959 from Howrah).


NEW JAL PAIGURI / GANGTOK : Arrival at N.J.P. by 6.40 am. After breakfast Transfer by Special Mini Coaches and proceed for Gangtok. Check in at hotel, after fresh up and lunch Gangtok local sightseeing. Directorate of Handicrafts – This includes woodcarvings, painting hand-woven carpets, carved furniture etc. Assembly House. Orchidarium– With colourful flowerbeds, lush green trees and narrow wines. The Orchidadium is more of a botanical garden. Chorten: A gold pinnacle surmounts this

After dinner & party games, Night halt at Gangtok.


GANGTOK : After fresh up and breakfast, visit Tsongo Lake-situated at an altitude of 12,000ft. its cool placid water is in perfect harmony with the scenic beauty around. Primulae flowers and other alpine vegetation grow wild around the lake, after lunch shopping & Remaining sightseeing at Gangtok. Night halt at Gangtok.


GANGTOK / DARJEELING : After fresh-up & breakfast departure to Darjeeling. check in at hotel, after lunch Darjeeling sightseeing – visit Lebong Race Course, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Darjeeling Valley Passenger Ropeway – About 3Km north to the town, is India’s oldest passenger ropeway (cable car). Bengal Natural History Museum — Established in 1903, a comprehensive but dilapidated collection of Himalayan and Bengali fauna is packed into this little museum. Tibetan Refugee Centre – Established in 1959, the center comprises a home for the aged, an orphanage, school, and clinic/hospital and craft workshops. Botanical Gardens, Zoological park, Tenzing rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – India’s most prestigious Mountaineering Institute founded in 1954. This has a collection of Historic Mountaineering Equipment’s, Specimens of Himalayan Flora and Fauna and Model of Himalayas showing Principal Peaks etc. After dinner, overnight at Darjeeling.( train no.12510)


DARJEELING : Early in the Morning, we take Land Rovers and proceed for Tiger Hills – An unforgettable view of the mighty peaks of Kanchenjunga and other peaks as they emerge through the crimson rays of the rising sun greets the visitors After fresh up and breakfast visit Ghoom Buddhist Monastery – It enshrines an image of the Maitriya Buddha, Batasia Loop, Rock Garden, Gangamaya Park & remaining sightseeing, Evening free for shopping at Mall Road. After dinner & party games. Night halt at Darjeeling.


DARJEELING/BANGALORE : After early breakfast, Transfer to NJP Railway Station. Departure to Bangalore by DBRG SBC Express 2.25 PM (Train No.15902).




BANGALORE : Arrival at Bangalore Railway Station by 11.50 AM.
