DAY 1 : BANGALORE/ SHORNUR – Departure from Yesvantpur Railway Station to Shornur by Kannur Express at 08.00 Pm, Train No.16527.
DAY 2 : SHORNUR – Arrival at Shornur Junction by 05.05 A.m. on arrival transfer to hotel by special Coach. Check in at Hotel. After freshen up & breakfast visit to Kerala Kalamandalam- The inception of Kalamandalam gave a second life to three major classical performing arts of Kerala as Kathakali, Kudiyattam and Mohiniyattam were, by the turn of 20th century, facing the threat of extinction under various regulations of the colonial authorities. It was at this juncture, in 1927, that Vallathol Narayana Menon and Mukunda Raja came forward and formed a society called Kerala Kalamandalam. Visit to Pottery & Handloom Making Units , Varikkassery Mana – Varikkumancheri Mana, popularly known as Varikkasseri (Varikkassery) Mana is one of the centuries old aristocratic Namboothiri (Kerala Brahamin) Illam (house) in Kerala. After lunch visit Punnathur Kotta – was once the palace of a local ruler, but the palace grounds are now used to house the elephants belonging to the Guruvayoor temple, and has been renamed Anakkotta (meaning “Elephant Fort”). Evening back to hotel for dinner and night halt at shornur.
DAY 3 : SHORNUR / COCHIN / BANGALORE – After Fresh up and Breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed for Cochin local Sight Seeing. Boat Cruise, Dutch Palace, Cochin Shipyard, a view of giant Chinese Saturday Fishing Nets that billow from massive teak poles dot the entrance to Cochin harbor, St. Francis Church originally built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European Church in India, one of the world’s greatest explorers Vasco-da-Gama was buried here. Bolgatty Island (out side view) etc. After Lunch visit to Cherai Beach and Evening Reporting at Ernakulam Railway Station & Departure to Bangalore By Ernakulum – Bangalore Express At 08:35 Pm, Train No.16316.
DAY 4 : BANGALORE – Arrival at Bangalore city Railway station at 08.35 Am.
