HOWRAH : Arrival at Howrah by 6.10 a.m. – On arrival, transfer to hotel. Dakshineshwar Kali Temple — This is the temple where Ramakrishna was the priest, and also where he reached his spiritual vision of the unity of all religions. It was built in 1847.Jain temple-The temple is an ornate mass of mirrors,coloured stones And glass mosaics, Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Indian Museum – Also known as Magic House, Asiatic Society – The First Modern Museum of Asia, Zoological Gardens – Here animals are displayed in their natural environments. Howrah Bridge — This Bridge was constructed to cross the Hoogly River in a single 450m span. Its size is similar to Australia’s Sydney Harbor Bridge. After dinner night halt at Howrah.
KOLKOTTA /PURI : After fresh up and breakfast, visit Science city – Science City is an area of knowledge and adventure. Science city has space theater, Space Flight, Dinosaurs alive dynamotion, life in water, a world of insects & reptiles, walkthrough butterfly corner and many more. After lunch visit to Victoria Memorial – This huge white – marbled museum houses a vast collection of memorabilia from the days of the British Empire. This is probably the most impressive reminder of the Raj to be found in India. Mother House After dinner, night halt at Howrah.
KOLKOTTA / BANGALORE : After fresh up and breakfast, visit to Marble Palace Mansion – The palatial mansion was built in 1835 by Raja Rajendra Mullick and is a residence for his descendants till date. The architecture of the Marble Palace Mansion is neoclassical and is considered the best preserved sites of this style of architecture. The palace also houses a museum which contains various antique furniture and old paintings. Marble Palace zoo is also a must visit. After lunch checkout from the hotel and proceed for shopping. Evening report at Howrah railway station by 7.00 pm and departure to bangalore by Howrah express at 8.35 am.train no: 12863.
