After fresh up and break fast, departure to Mahabaleshwar. Check in at Hotel. After lunch, leave for Mahabaleshwar local sight seeing. Mahabaleshwar has pleasant walks and panoramic lookouts, and the area has strong historical connections with Shivaji. In the village of Old Mahabaleshwar there are two ancient temples. The Krishnabai or Panchganga Mandir is said to contain the springs of five rivers, including the sacred Krishna River. The Mahabaleshwar Mandir is of interest for its naturally occurring lingam. After fresh up and breakfast departure for remaining Pune local sightseeing. Raja Kelkar Museum: This fascinating Museum is one of Pune’s real delights. The exhibits are the personal collection of Sri Dinakar Gangadhar. There are about 17,000 or so artworks which he collected for over 70 years. Pataleshwar Temple: This is the wonderful rock-cut Temple built in around 8th Century, similar in style to the temple at Elephanta.
